A Zimbabwean teacher has has left his job on suspicion of having an affair with a Form 4 student.
The teacher, Gladwin Parawira admitted that he was flirting with the girl but they were not in love.
Parawira said he heard from other students that the girl was spreading the news that two were dating.
On his resignation, he decided to do so because the messages that the girl was the sending him were much explicit.
”I decided to resign from my job because the messages were nasty, and according to the law, I must not even say goodnight to a student, what more of the messages I sent her?,” he said.
