A 7 year old boy has died after being hit by unregistered motorcycle at Luzi market in Mzimba North.
Rumphi police spokesperson Sergeant Tupeliwe Kabwilo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kabwilo, the boy met his fate on 28 February 2022 when he was crossing the road from right to left hand side.
He said the boy sustained severe head injuries and was taken to Luzi Health Centre where he was referred to Rumphi district hospital.
He was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The boy hailed from Jalani village under Traditional Authority Jalavikuba in Mzimba.
