Former Malawi Broadcasting Corporation Director-General Aubrey Sumbuleta has been arrested on charges related to abuse of office.
Our sources confirmed that Sumbuleta spent last night at Blantyre Police Station where he is just being kept after being picked by Fiscal Police.
National Police spokesperson James Kadadzera asked for more time to check with officers handling the matter.
