There is a clip that went viral on social media of the above subject matter of which this Office can confirm to have happened at Mseche village in Mchinji District on March 1, 2022 at around 14:00 hours at Mseche graveyard.
Briefly, there was a burial ceremony taking place at Mseche graveyard at Mseche village, Traditional Authority Zulu, District Mchinji. During the ceremony, Justin Richard, an adult of the same village who was drunk, started conducting himself to cause a breach of peace at the graveyard.
He was counselled several times and he could not took heed of the advice prompting to a decision to tie him to the trees and was released after his relations paid a fine.
This Office together with the Office of the District Commissioner responsible for Mchinji District will summon the Village Headman for a piece of advice.
