Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that former Reserve Bank of Malawi (RBM) Deputy Governor Henry Mathanga has been arrested.
According to information at hand, Mathanga has been arrested on allegations of taking part in falsifying documents to International Monetary Fund (IMF).
Two months ago, the police also arrested former Minister of Finance Joseph Mwanamvekha under the reign of former President Peter Mutharika over the same.
Mwanamvekha is currently on court bail.
