Social Media influencer and writer Pemphero Mphande has said what her former artist Keturah Milimo also known as The Local Girl wrote and what is being said has affected him too.
Yesterday, Mphande was subjected to insults following Keturah’s Facebook post which was deemed as a suicide message.
“I was once alive. Thank you,” was Keturah’s last Facebook post before she deleted her account a development which attracted mixed reactions.
Malawians on social media accused Mphande also known as Mr. Zee or Mr. Hide My ID as the reason Keturah is passing through depression.
Other’s threatened to hold Mphande responsible if any uncertainties happen to fall on the singer.
In a Facebook post, Mphande he was equally affected just as many Malawians on social media were.
He then thanked those who were there for him and Keturah saying “It is on days like today that we know our true friends.”
As much as he loves Keturah, Mphande said it is not in his position to say anything regarding Keturah’s mental health as she has not done the same.
“I love Keturah and she has always had a special place in my heart. Unfortunately I cannot say much as she hasn’t said much herself and it’s her private life. I have no right over what she says,” said Mphande.
He then assured those who were concerned and fear for Keturah’s life that she is fine.
“Nonetheless for those who were concerned, I wanted to let you know I have met her and she is fine. She will be ok. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. Don’t forget to pray for me too,” he said.
