A female Grade 10 pupil of Ntipo Secondary School in Isoka District of Muchinga Province has committed suicide by drinking doom after her father advised her to stop going out with married men.
In her death note, Flies Kalwe said she decided to kill herself in protest against her father’s ‘useless advice’ according to her in her death note.
Yesterday, her father found her with a named married man so he had to sit her down and explained the dangers of going out with married men and indeed going out with any man at her age.
He instead encouraged her to concentrate with school work. But that annoyed her and so she decided to hit back against her father by taking doom.
