Weather experts have said Tropical Storm Gombe which has landed in Mozambique will be felt in the country for at least three days.

Meanwhile, the Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services has added Blantyre to the initial list of eight districts that are expected to be affected by the storm.

However, Lucy Mtilatila- Acting Director for the Department has told the Press that four of the nine districts which include Nsanje, Chikwawa, Phalombe, and Mulanje are at high risk of experiencing the impact of Gombe.

Mtilatila has said the storm which is moving westwards, at a speed of 11 kilometers per hour, will be more intense on Saturday.
