Well-known social commentator Joshua Chisa Mbele has said some top officials in United Transformation Movement (UTM) and Malawi Congress Party (MCP) are implicated in corruption scandal involving businessman Zunneth Sattar.
Chisa Mbele disclosed this through statement posted on his official Facebook page seen by this publication after reports emerged that the two alliance partners are pushing the blame to each other.
“Here is the truth: Both MCP & UTM Operatives are on Zunneth Sattar Corruption List.
“We are not going to rest till everyone on that infamous List is publicly known and people have marched to his or her place,” wrote Chisa Mbele.
Effort to talk to spokespersons of MCP and UTM proved futile.
