Tobacco Commission (TC) has today announced the opening of the 2022 tobacco marketing season starting with Lilongwe Floors on March 31 and Limbe Floors on April 5.

In a statement TC says dates for the opening of Chinkhoma and Mzuzu Floors will be announced in the second week of April.

Meanwhile, the statement says tobacco deliveries at Lilongwe and Limbe Floors will start on 21stMarch, 2022.

In February, the commission said this year’s sales would start earlier than in previous years for the economic benefit of growers.
