The body of a Zambian Truck Driver is currently decomposing in a Mozambican mortuary as his employers, Juba Transport, have abandoned him and opted only to return the truck he is said to have been driving back to Zambia.

Danny Silwimba was hit by an oncoming Mozambican vehicle in Guro District as he was crossing the road shortly after processing documents at a check point.

Truck Drivers association of Zambia President, Richard Chola, has confirmed the incident saying the association has managed to mobilizer funds in order to have the remains of their colleague brought back to Zambia.

Efforts to get a comment from Juba Transport General Manager, Zechariah Muhammad, we’re unsuccessful by broadcast time as his phone went unanswered.
