A dark cloud has engulfed one of the football power houses in the country Mighty Wanderers Football Club following the death of its diehard fan Elijah Manyi Afisi.

Manyi Afisi died on Wednesday at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital after a short illness.

The club has confirmed of the development in a statement posted on its official Facebook page seen by this publication.

“Mighty Wanderers is deeply saddened to announce the death of one of our diehard fan at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital,” reads in part the statement.

Funeral details are still sketchy at the moment.
