In what appear to be a failed suicide, Mzuzu University (Mzuni) student is trending on social media for allegedly resurrected from the dead.
The student (name withheld) is studying tourism at the University and reasons for attempting to take his own life are not known by this publication.
But face of Malawi understands that the student drunk poisonous substances with an aim of ending his life, and the time he was found, it was announced that he had already died.
Condolences messages started pouring in for the alleged fallen student.
His body was later taken to the hospital in which doctors planted some faith in those who brought him that his body was showing signs that he was still alive.
Doctors showed their skills in reliving the student and was later pronounced alive.
He then confirmed on the school’s WhatsApp group that he is indeed alive.
In Malawi, attempted suicide is a criminal case and punishable by law, it is yet to be decided if the student will be brought to book for his acts.
