Alliance for Democracy (AFORD) Member of Parliament for Mzimba North Yelemia Chihana has joined march organized by concerned Rumphi and Chitipa residents in the capital Lilongwe.
The protesters are against delay by the Tonse Alliance government to rehabilitate the Rumphi Nyika via Nthalire Chitipa road.
The concerned citizens are scheduled to petition Parliament this morning.
Speaking after joining the protest Chihana urged people not to relent asking government to address the problem; saying it is development that will benefit all Malawians.
