President Lazarus Chakwera has emphasized on practicing commercial farming instead of substance farming for the country to remain food sufficient and enable farmers realize more produce.
Chakwera made the remarks during crop inspection in Zomba district.
“People are willing to work together and have the ability to adapt to new technologies” Chakwera said.
He added that, if Malawians can take commercial farming seriously, they can boost agricultural productivity in the country.
While in Zomba, Chakwera visited Eloni, Mjojo and kaunde villages
