Former AG Kalekeni Kaphale Fined

Former Attorney General was fined and released yesterday following his arrest by Lilongwe police on Wednesday.
He was arrested for drink and drive offence, insulting a traffic police officer and violating traffic regulations.
Kaphale served as Attorney General from 2018 to 2020 in the Peter Mutharika administration.
