Protests against rising cost of living underway in Zomba

Demonstrations against the rising cost of living are underway in Zomba.

The demonstrations come barely two days after State Vice President Dr. Saulos Chilima acknowledged that indeed prices of goods have sky rocked in the country.

The lead organiser Oliver Nakoma said people are not happy with government government response to the ‘cries’ of Malawians on the issue at hand.

The demonstrators will deliver petition to district commissioner.
