Information reaching this publication indicates that police have raided offices of the country’s investigative reporting organisation PIJ in Blantyre arresting two journalists in the process.
The two are Gregory Gondwe and Golden Matonga.
Matonga confirmed of the development in a statement posted on his official facebook page seen by this publication.
According to Matonga, the law enforcers allegedly forced them to reveal the source of some documents which were used in one of the articles published in Nation Publication Limited.
Matonga said the police officers have also seized computers and phones.
