Business came to a standstill in some offices in Blantyre as some employees were seen running for their dear life following an earth tremor that hit the city.
The earth tremor was also felt is some districts like Zomba, Thyolo and Nsanje in the Southern Region.
Director of Geological Survey Kondwani Dombola, confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Dombola, the tremor occurred around 12:50 PM, but said the authorities are yet to determine the magnitude and the epicentre.
