Outspoken Zambia’s politician Sean Tembo has made serious allegations against the administration of President Hakainde Hichilema.
Tembo who is a leader of one of Zambia’s opposition parties, Patriots of Economic Progress (PeP) is claiming that his life is at stake as plans to assassinate him have been executed.
Writing on his social media platforms, Tembo alleged that on the day of Zambia’s fourth President Rupiah Banda’s funeral there was a state sponsored assassination attempt.
“Today l received information about a state sponsored assassination attempt,” wrote Sean Tembo.
According to him he was given a chair to sit on which was specifically planned on carrying the assassination, but he said he refused to sit on it.
“It was to take place on the day of RB’s burial, but was foiled because l refused to sit on the chair given to me,” he claimed.
Tembo is the critic of president Hichilema and his administration.
