Chingeni-Zalewa section of the M001 road closed

Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that the Roads Authority has closed the Chingeni-Zalewa section of the M001 road to allow for the rehabilitation of the damaged curvet at Kam’mwamba Trading Centre.
Roads Authority (RA) has confirmed of the development in a statement made available to faceofmalawi.
According to RA, the damage of the said curvet is as a result of the heavy rains experienced in the area which resulted into flooding.
