Police at Mponela in Dowa are looking for people who may have murdered Genasiyo Kuulanda, a man aged 65.
Mponela police spokesperson, Macpatson Msadala, says the incident occurred Sunday, April 10, 2022, around 19:00 hours at Kuphera Village in the district.
“Kuulanda left his house for an unknown destination before he was later found lying dead by an 11-year-old girl who had gone outside a house to answer the call of nature,” he said.
A postmortem conducted at Ntchisi District Hospital revealed that death was due to head injuries.
