President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has lost his sister Mirriam who has passed away today, April 18, 2022, the State House Press Office announces in a statement.
The statement signed by Presidential Press Secretary, Anthony Kasunda, says the development has necessitated Dr. Chakwera’s cancellation of public engagements to mourn the death of his sister.
According to the statement, the burial of Dr. Chakwera’s sister will take place on Wednesday, 20 April 2022 at Manase Village in Mdika, Dowa District.
