Senior Resident Magistrate, Akya Mwanyongo, has reserved bail ruling in a case where six suspects are being accused of allegedly stealing cash amounting to K437,000 belonging to the Super League of Malawi.
The court heard that the six, Laston Theu, Wyson Chingana, Prince Ndalama, Gladys Meja, Chiyembekezo Buffalo and Tingo Fungulani committed the crime on 16 April 2022 at Kamuzu Stadium during a football match between Mighty Wanderers and Sable Farming.
Meanwhile, all the six suspects in the case have pleaded not guilty to the charge and the State is expected to parade five witnesses in the matter.
The case has been adjourned to next week Monday.
