Flames Head Coach Mario Marian Marinica, has said qualifying for upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) will not be easy.

Marinica made the remarks after Flames was drawn in group D of TotalEnergies 2023 African Cup of Nations slated for Cote d’Ivoire, which consist Ethiopia, Guinea and Egypt.

The Flames coach said it would not be an easy task to record victory as their opponents have good sides.

He admitted their opponents have an upper hand over the Flames.

Egypt finished on second position of 2021 AFCON which was played in Cameroon while Guinea was booted out in the round of 8.
