215 ex-security guards of Mota Engil have taken seasoned lawyer David Kanyenda to court accusing him of embezzling their compensation money.
The group which was unfairly dismissed in 2014 argues that Kanyenda has failed to reveal to them how much he received from Mota Engil and they further argue that what he gave them was far below what they expected.
The matter is before High Court Judge Mike Tembo.
Kanyenda is being represented by lawyer Chancy Gondwe while the claimants are being represented by Humphrey Panyanja and Patrick Debwe from the Legal Aid Bureau.
