President Lazarus Chakwera did not confirm neither deny that the agreement he between him and his vice Saulos Chilima will be made public very soon.

On Friday, when Chilima was leaving the country announced that the agreement he made with Chakwera prior to June 23, 2020 fresh presidential elections will be made public in no time.

However, when speaking to the press yesterday at Kamuzu Palace in Lilongwe, The Malawi leader could not say anything regarding what his vice uttered.

Instead he said that any decision regarding the alliance has to involve all the party leaders making up the alliance despite the fact that it is being headed by two parties.

Malawians and other officials from the Malawi Congress Party (MCP) have been asking the duo to come in the open and share with Malawians what the agreed, but to no avail.

Chilima’s revelations come at a time when rumors have it that the relationship between him and the president is not good, assertions both parties have vehemently denied.
