Govt Appoints Godfrey Chapola As Board Chairperson Of Tobacco Commission

Government has appointed Godfrey Chapola as Tobacco Commission (TC) Board Chairperson.
Chapola replaces Harry Mkandawire who was appointed Deputy Minister of Defence.
According to communication from the Comptroller of Statutory Corporations, the appointment is with effect from April 19.
Chapola was a running mate of United Democratic Front (UDF) Atupele Muluzi during 2014 general election.
