Memorial send off ofa Malawian afrojazz icon Chris Kele will take place today in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Kele died on April 20, 2022 at Baragwanath hospital in Soweto.
According to information at hand, the sendoff ceremony will take place at Wings of Deliverance in Johannesburg, South Africa and Sally Nyundo of the “Ras Amadya Nzimbe” fame will represent musicians.
Kele hailed from Williams Village, Traditional Authority Katunga in Chikwawa District.
He recently played the guitars in Mlaka Maliro’s latest single “Vinyo Watha of the album The Risen King to be launched later this year.
