Mzuzu University (MZUNI) staff members are planning to hold a five-day sit-in from Monday to Friday next week over unpaid pension arrears.
The strike is likely to bring operations on knees.
This comes on top of another industrial action by Deans of Faculties and Heads of Department from today (Friday) over “poor working conditions” which has chocked the opening of a new semester.
MZUNI Assistant Registrar responsible for Public Relations Cliff Kawanga refused to comment on the matter.
