One of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Presidential Aspirants Prophet David Mbewe of Living Word Evangelistic Church (LIWEC) was on Monday captured celebrating Eid Mubarak with Muslims in Machinga District.
The development comes barely a day after leader of opposition Kondwani Nankhumwa, DPP Vice President for the South invaded Mgona in Lilongwe.
Many people have described Mbewe’s move to dine with Muslims as one way of wooing supporters to rally behind him ahead of the elective conference in 2023.
