Malawi continues to register cases of Cholera every day, from the beginning of the disease, the country has registered 120 cases in total with 6 deaths which brings the fatality rate at 5%.

According to the statement from the ministry of Health, in the past 24 hours the country has registered 4 new cases of Cholera, 12 new discharges from the hospitals and one new death.

The ministry says all the 4 new cases are from Blantyre district while one death is from Nsanje district.

As of now nine cases are in admission, Blantyre district has registered four new cases followed by Neno district with three cases while Nsanje district has two cases.

In summary, Nsanje has reported 87 cases with 5 deaths, Blantyre district has reported 19 cases with zero death, Neno district has reported 11 cases with zero death, Machinga has reported 2 cases with zero death while Chikwawa district has reported 1 case with zero death.
