Controversial Peoples Land Organization (PLO) leader Vincent Wandale has said that he has rejected Ministerial post for three times from President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to abandon his fight for the declaration of Thyolo and Mulanje as standalone state.

Wandale’s claims come barely a month after reports emerged that PLO Board Chairman Fadson Mleme penned Chakwera demanding withdraw of the 2016 declaration of Thyolo and Mulanje (MUST) as a sovereign state.

But Wandale rejected this claim.

Writing on his official facebook page Wandale claimed that the offer was aimed at stopping him from pursuing his fight for land in Thyolo and Mulanje.

“I declined an offer to be Minister for three times in exchange of abandoning the legitimate struggle for the repossession of the stolen land of our ancestors,” wrote Wandale.

His claim has attracted mixed reactions with many claiming that Wandale is insane.

Effort to talk to Minister of Information and Digitalization Gospel Kazako proved futile.
