MBS destroys more than 350 non trade and tampered scales

The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) has destroyed 357 non trade and tampered scales that were impounded from unscrupulous traders in various parts of the southern region.
The Bureau is also planning to destroy other 253 in the North and 339 scales in the central region soon.
Officials say most of the weighing scales were confiscated from meat markets.
