Eleven medical professionals working at a Missouri hospital are all pregnant at the same time, with two of the nurses due to give birth on the same day.
At Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri, ten nurses and one doctor are all expecting babies in the coming months.
Most of the pregnant medics work in obstetrics and labor and delivery.
“They always do things in groups, but we’ve never had 10 at the same time,” Birthing Center Director Nicki Kolling told Fox4 KC. “So, it’s been fun.”
This isn’t the first time a hospital has experienced multiple medical staff getting pregnant at the same time.
In 2019, nine nurses working in the labor and delivery unit at Maine Medical Center were all expecting at the same time (read here).
