Police in Dedza have arrested a 22-year-old man identified as Emmanuel Jeremiah for allegedly defiling his brother’s daughter since 2017.
Dedza Deputy Police Spokesperson Edward Kabango has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kabango, the suspect divorced his wife in 2017 and his elder brother invited him to Dedza from Thyolo.
According to Kabango, in the same year he arrived, he is suspected to have started defiling his elder brother’s daughter aged 11.
The suspect and threatened to kill her if she revealed to anyone.
