Telekom Network of Malawi (TNM) PLC under Mudziwathu Initiative has partnered with Joyce Banda Foundation International School to empower women and vulnerable groups economically.

According to Joyce Banda, founder of Joyce Banda Foundation said the partnership will continue the efforts by TNM PLC in implementation of positive collaboration for sustainability and community development.

“We have rural network that is strong for me I have always believed that when I work, I should target women at grassroots level, People from rural areas are intelligent, they know what exactly what to do , they just need support from others just like TNM and Joyce Banda Foundation International”, Banda said.

On his part, Arnold M’bwana, TNM Chief Executive Officer said Mudziwathu will help to co-generate and initiate solutions with partners to transform lives of Malawians

“We know the challenges that Malawians meet which will be solved through the agreement and TNM will increase the availability of Mpamba Agents in the country,” explained M’bwana.

The partnership is aiming at poverty eradication, promoting economic growth among women and creating jobs among the vulnerable groups.
