Man Convicted, Sentenced 2 Years For Illegal Possession Of Medical Equipment

A 32 year old man has been convicted and sentenced to two and half years imprisonment with hard labor for illegal possession of medical equipment.
The convict has been identified as Charles Mwamphasi.
Mwamphasi was nabbed few weeks ago as he was found with 78 cartons of malaria testing kit each containing 25 pieces valued at K500, 000.
The First Grade Magistrate court in Nkhatabay gave the punishment to deter warning to would be offenders.
