The remains of Malawi’s Hip hop artist Martin Nkhata alias Martse will be laid to rest tomorrow at Area 18 Cemetery in the capital Lilongwe, family confirms.

According to the program seen by this publication, the remains of the fallen artist will be taken from Mthunzi Mortuary in Blantyre off to Likuni in Lilongwe at Nkhata’s residence where the vigil will take place.

According the late Martse’s brother, Jerome Nkhata, the departed Martse will be laid to rest on May 25, 2022 at Area 18 cemetery.

The singer died yesterday at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital (QECH) in Blantyre.

The Mkatimo hitmaker met his fate on Friday after the house he slept in caught fire, he was later on transferred to Zomba General Hospital before being transferred to QECH for further treatment.

Tributes have been pouring in for the departed Martse from his fellow musicians, politicians and all concerned citizens.

He died at the age of 28
