Agricultural Development and Marketing Corporation (Admarc) workers union has called off a sit-in which was scheduled to start today.

The sit-in, as announced on Friday by the union, wanted to force government to dissolve the current board of the entity accusing it of interference with internal matters.

Speaking in an interview, Admarc Workers Union Chairman John Hassan said the suspension of the sit-in follows discussions they had with management yesterday which assured them that government officials will meet them to resolve their concerns.
