Former ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) is today expected to hold a media briefing to speak on socio-economic challenges that are rockling the country.

Former minister of finance and DPP’s senior member Goodall Gondwe is expected to chair the resser alongside Reserve Bank of Malawi’s ex governor Dalitso Kabambe.

DPP’s spokesperson Shadreck Namalomba said the presser is aimed at addressing the challenges the country is going through and the economic status the country’s is currently in.

DPP’s presser comes at a time the reserve bank has just devalued the currency by 25 percent.
