Nigerian musician and record owner, Kizz Daniel has recorded another feat in the global music industry.

This time around, the feat is for his latest single, “Buga”.

“Buga” has become the most shazamed song in the world.

The Shazam application, owned by Apple and developed by Shazam Entertainment, is used to identify music, movies, advertising, and television shows, based on a short sample played and using the microphone on the device, announced via their official Twitter page, congratulating the Nigerian star saying, “Big congrats to @KizzDaniel!! #Buga is the most Shazamed song in the world: apple.co/ShazamGlobalCh… ”

With 793,363 shazams in two weeks, Kizz Daniel’s ‘Buga’, produced by Tekno and released May 3, became a viral sensation with its signature dance on social media, including Tik Tok.

‘Buga’ has topped major charts in Africa, hitting one million streams in seven days of release on Boomplay, 5.1 million views on YouTube on the official lyric video, about 11.4 million equivalent streams and 47.5 million in radio reach (No. 2 debut on radio) and set a new record for the song with the biggest total activity in history.
