Concerned Group Petition Nhata-Bay Council Over Mismanagement Of Funds By Officials

A concerned group in Nkhata Bay dubbed ‘Voice of Nkhatabians’ has taken to the street to show its frustrations with the alleged mismanagement of public funds by some district council officials.
According to the group leader, Sandress Kaunda among others they are not impressed with the progress of the construction of Mwambazi Bridge in Nkhata Bay North-West as the contractor is yet to do the work while he already pocketed MK18 million for the project.
They are matching from Nkhata Bay turn-off to the District Commissioner’s office to deliver their petition.
