One Dies, Others Injured In Motor Vehicle Accident In Blantyre

One person has died and others injured after a truck lost control and swept several cars at Mkwate along Limbe-Luwanda- Machinjiri Road.

Eyewitnesses told MBC that the accident happened Wednesday evening.

They said a truck, belonging to a beer brewery company, veered into vehicles in a traffic jam, smashing several cars, killing a man, a resident of the same area who was driving his car towards Limbe direction.

The number of those injured is not clear as police asked for more time to gather further details on the accident.
