Malawi leader held his first audience with the newly appointed Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC), Colleen Zamba.
The meeting was held yesterday at Kamuzu Palace in the Capital, Lilongwe, State House Press Office confirmed.
Among others the two met to create a dialogue with an aim of giving Zamba a set of deliverables Chakwera is expecting from her work as a head of the civil service.
Zamba is expected to be sworn in today at Kamuzu Palace in the morning hours.
She replaces Zanga-Zanga Chikhosi who has been assigned to other duties by the Malawi leader.
