The National Executive Committee of the United Democratic Front (UDF) has unanimously elected Lilian Patel as the party’s president.
This has been disclosed by UDF Secretary General Kandi Padambo today in Blantyre during a press conference
The decision follows the resignation of the party’s leader Atupele Muluzi early week.
