A 24 year old man identified as Ongani Banda is reportedly missing in Mbayani Township in the commercial capital Blantyre.
Ongani who works with Build Africa in Blantyre is reported to have gone missing on June 2, 2022.
A relative to the missing man, Geoffrey Mphangamo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
“Ongani works at Build Africa, Blantyre and went missing on 2nd June, 2022 and the matter was reported to Police that enabled the family to acquire a warrant so that TNM network can track the location of his phone,” reads in part the information seen by this publication.
According to Mphangamo, Ongani’s phone was pinned with a network tower of Cape Maclear and some friends and family were asked to look for him that side but to no avail.
Meanwhile, law enforcers have launched a search for the missing man.
