A one and half year old boy Brian Zimba has died after a vehicle which his father was reversing ran over him at Bulala Trading Center in Mzimba.
Mzimba Police Spokesperson, Peter Botha has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Botha, the accident happened on Friday evening when the father to the child, Timothy Zimba reversed a Hino Lorry registration number NA 1900 at his shop without noticing the presence of the little one on the other end.
The victim and his father are both from Chigulugulu Village in the area of Inkosi Chindi, Mzimba.
