Information reaching this publication indicates that prospective graduating students from Malawi College of Accountancy (MCA) will pay Mk120, 000 each for a gown.
This has been revealed in a leaked MEMO from MCA Registrar addressed to all graduating students.
According to the memo, any student who will miss the graduation will still pay for the graduation gown fee when collecting the certificate.
“Degree graduating students are required to pay a graduation fee of MK120,000.00 in advance. Professional students will also pay a graduation fee of Mk120,000.00, out of which 25, 000.00 will be refunded upon return of the graduation regalia,” reads in part the MEMO.
MCA graduation is set for August 26, 2022 at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in the capital Lilongwe.
