The remains of Zambian student Sampa Mwenya who passed on two months ago in China after an accident will arrive in the country today.
Zambia’s minister of foreign affairs Stanley Kakubo has confirmed.
According to Kakubo, the body of Sampa will arrive in the country through the Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in the afternoon.
“We have this afternoon formally informed the family of the deceased student Mr Sampa Mwenya who died in to road traffic accident in China that the body is expected to arrive in Zambia at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport on Sunday 26th June 2022 at 14:40hrs,” Kakubo said.
He added; “On behalf of the Zambian Government, we wish to once again convey our condolences to the Mwenya family and to all friends and relatives.”
